The Gospel Way of Jesus seems to be moving sideways down from spiritual basics, while trying to stay instep with ingenious innovation. Just maybe, another stone of stumbling of Isaiah 8:14: an incredible prophet of intuitive insight. So today, whatever happened to the old adage of Spirit-led Bible thumpers of amazing grace or dynamic scripture references "…so as to present the church to himself in splendour, without a spot or wrinkle or anything of the kind, so that she may be holy and without blemish" (Ephesians 5:27 NRSVue). Obviously, something seems to be missing concerning that old-time religion. While the dividing line of sinlessness or damnation looms on the horizon. "For there is still a vision for the appointed time; it speaks of the end and does not lie. If it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay" (Habakkuk 2:3 NRSVue). Albeit, the mysterious swindler of this culture is crafty.
