Crossroads

- an epic revelation -

The eternal and unvarnished truth of humanity lost or found through the gospel Way of faith alone. The almost forgotten circumstance surrounding the creation story and subsequent outline of hope revisited. Thus says the Lord: "Stand at the crossroads and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls" (Jeremiah 6:16 NRSVue). A convincing and most wonderful outline of steadfast love. Moreover, a favourite scripture: "The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will renew you in his love; he will exult over you with loud singing" (Zephaniah 3:17 NRSVue). The Spirit-led presence of the Lord whom overrides the nemesis or trickster of this world. Thereby, a good reason to avoid the bandwagon of worldly-wise social causes of little or no lasting value, eh! Whereby, the Christian church is encouraged to "look up and trust" with a stout heart of faith unlimited. Again, to avoid the shilly-shally of secular nonsense, doubts and nefarious coercion.
